2. Use of the site
This site is provided for information and to facilitate appointment booking. You agree not to use it for illegal purposes, not to attempt to access underlying systems, and to provide accurate information in the booking form.
Any submission via the form constitutes a booking request, not a confirmation. An appointment is only confirmed after a phone conversation with a member of our team.
3. Appointments, cancellations and no-shows
- Confirmation: we call you back within the hour following receipt of your request (during business hours).
- Cancellation: no charge if you let us know at least 24 hours in advance.
- No-show or more than 15 minutes late: we reserve the right to reschedule your appointment to the next available slot.
- Special cases (seasonal tire changes in peak season, major repairs): a deposit may be required at booking.
4. Estimates, work authorization and invoicing
In compliance with the Quebec Consumer Protection Act, we provide a written estimate before any work whose cost exceeds $100. No repair is performed without your prior authorization.
- Quoted price: the amount on the estimate is the price you pay. Any unauthorized overage is on us.
- Additional parts: if a further issue is discovered during the work, we call you for approval before continuing.
- Replaced parts: on request, we return your replaced used parts (except those subject to a standard manufacturer core exchange).
- Payment: at vehicle pickup. Cash, credit card, or debit card.
5. Warranties
Parts
Parts installed by us are covered by the Bumper to Bumper national warranty, valid at more than 1,800 affiliated shops across Canada. Exact terms (duration, exclusions, mileage) vary by part and are noted on your invoice.
Labour
Labour is warranted for 12 months or 20,000 km, whichever comes first, when tied to a part we installed.
Exclusions
- Parts supplied by the customer
- Damage caused by abnormal use, accidents, or lack of maintenance
- Work modified or repaired by a third party after our service
6. Vehicle entrusted to the shop
- Personal effects: we recommend removing any valuables before leaving your vehicle with us. Élite Pneus Mécanique disclaims liability for loss or theft of personal items left on board.
- Parking and storage: your vehicle is parked at your own risk. Our insurance covers damage caused by our professional fault, but not third-party acts (vandalism, theft).
- Abandoned vehicles: any vehicle not picked up within 30 days of work completion, despite our written notices, will be subject to storage fees and may be remitted to a sequestrator in accordance with the law.
7. Seasonal tire storage
- Storage is offered to customers who have their tires installed with us.
- Tires are stored in a dry, temperate facility.
- Tires not picked up or used within 24 months are considered abandoned and may be recycled.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any harm arising from a service rendered is limited to the amount paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect losses (loss of income, rental of a replacement vehicle, etc.) unless required by law.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Quebec Consumer Protection Act.
9. Intellectual property
The content of this site (text, logos, images, layout) is protected. You may consult it for personal use. Any commercial reproduction is forbidden without written authorization.
10. Personal information
The collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, compliant with Quebec's Law 25.
11. Changes
We may modify these terms at any time. The version in effect is the one posted on this page, with its effective date.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and Canada. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Terrebonne, Quebec.
